Dear Amazon, I Love You, Too, Bro

Like almost every writer I know, I have a personal Amazon.com login and I have my Author Central page.

I absolutely love when they intersect in ways I never imagined. Facebook is an easy monster to tame. You create a personal page and an author page, and when you want to post as one or the other, Facebook highlights that for you. Amazon usually keeps things in silos. I’m not sure if this is an anomaly or not but I recently received an email from Amazon that sent me recommendations based on what I had previously purchased.

Amazon, if I was Judge of the Internet, I would rule this full of WIN.

AmazonAmazon’s Incredible Artificial Intelligence (hereafter referred to as AIAI) just told me I would love a book that I wrote.

I agree. I really like this story, and I think it’s got action, a bit of drama, and a totally oddball 2nd act. I worked pretty hard on it, and I wanted those who read Catwalk: Messiah to have a bridge from that book to the follow-up, Catwalk: Lineage.

I sincerely hope that Amazon is recommending Jericho to everyone who loves Cyberpunk stories. I took a little humor that it recommended this to me, since I was the author. But, hey, if you like what I like, then you’ll like what I write. Sounds like Amazon can really recognize my target market, and recommend my book to them. Maybe I just got caught up in the tide.

I’ll take it.

Have you read Catwalk: Jericho? Please leave me a comment here, and review the book over on the Amazon page.

All the best!

nK
