Catwalk - Making An Entrance

The Story

Catwalk has always been a character of whom I've been very proud. When I was approached with the opportunity to get him into a comic, I was elated. David Napoliello of Peregrine Entertainment worked closely with me to sculpt a short story into the form necessary for a comic. Through careful interviewing, David lined up artist Corey Zayatz, who worked tirelessly through multiple character development issues around Cat's look and the surroundings, etc.

In the story, Catwalk reveals a lot about himself through inner monologue, take the kind of voiceovers which made Film Noir popular and that's a good starting point. Catwalk has been hired to ensure that Delilah Dupree, a beautiful model, makes it to her gala event. He takes on a number of enemies, dispatching them through the use of grenades, his trusty baton, and some slick motorcycle riding. In the end, it earns him a wink from the knowing Delilah.

The entire thing was a huge learning process and a great first step for myself and Cat. Now, five years later, we've put it up on this site for everyone's viewing pleasure. Please feel free to contact me for further info, comments or solicitations.
